Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Marigold, Colorado
Marigold was a stage stop between Victor and Cripple creek and was a construction camp for the Carlton Tunnel between 1930 and 1941. It had a post office between 1895 and 1902 and is seasonally occupied with several era structures.
Trespassers beware : The site is contaminated with the Hantavirus.

While driving by, several people were here taking a picture so I stopped to ask of historical value. The gentleman informed me his grandpa lived in this structure while building the Carlton tunnel. It is several miles north of Marigold.
