Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Bull Hill, Colorado

Bull Hill was one of the many small towns surrounding the Victor mining area. Today, foundations and some small buildings remain. The site was located near Independence, so some photos may be from that town site instead and placed here in error. From my understanding, Independence is located closer to the Little Theresa mine, and Bull Hill was higher in elevation. Although it never had a post office, the town did have two mills. The original train depot was moved from Bull Hill to Anaconda, and then to Cripple Creek in the 1960s and now serves the depot for the Cripple Creek and Victor narrow gauge.
