Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Pandora, Colorado
Originally called Newport, then renamed to Folsom, Pandora was a mining community supporting workers in many mines near Telluride. It had Telluride's post office for a few months, and eventually got its own post office under the name Pandora. Today, most of the site has been covered under
its own mine tailings, or has been reclaimed. Only the surface mill remain at the site. Other structures, such as tram towers and the mines it supported, are evident on other roads.
