Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Camp Bird (Lower), Colorado

Lower Camp Bird (usually just referred to as Camp Bird) had a post office from 1889 to 1916 and was a very good producer of ore. Its tunnels connect to Upper Camp Bird some two miles away via Imogene pass. Although not much remains at the site now, the Manager's house has been restored and vehicles occupy the site.

Another entrance to the mine. I'm not sure what its status is but I did see several San Miguel Electric trucks entering it.
