Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Sapinero, Colorado

Sapinero was originally on the north side of the river, one mile from its present location. It was abadoned in about 1963 with the rising waters from the dam. Some historic buildings from before that time still exist, but these were not at the time considered within the town itself.
