Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Medina Plaza, Colorado

April 7, 2020Posted by Webmaster

Like other towns along the route such as Valdez, Segundo, Cordova Plaza, and Weston, Medina Plaza traces its routes back to the early 1900s as a coal mining town with agricultural basis. While it is now a small town on a scenic byway, it does have many historic structures. Primarily, I've only explored this historic church which is located on the edge of the highway next to a turnout.
