Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Mount Harris, Colorado

May 18, 2013Posted by Webmaster

Mount Harris boasts the safest mining history in the area. But across the street at Wadge, was the most deadly. Today, a historical marker sits on US40 west of Steamboat Springs and tells of Mount Harris's history. No buildings from the area remain standing, but there are at least 6 concrete foundations still remaining, mostly visible in the trees on the south side of the railroad tracks.
