Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Gravesite - Clara Dulaney, Colorado
Clara Dulaney's gravesite is located just off the Central City highway at the site of Missouri Flats.
Even according to Muriel Wolle, who visited the site in 1934 with a friend from Central City, this lone grave is all that existed to mark an entire town. At one time in the 1860s, Missouri Flats as it was called, was expected to surpass central city in size. Even in the 1930s, nothing remained to mark this town, except for the town's one grave.
She's been alone up there for 150 years.
