Colorado Ghost Town Photography - Caddoa, Colorado

November 14, 2016Posted by Webmaster

Caddoa is another town that has been moved. The original Caddoa was downstream from the present day John Martin Dam in 1879. The BNSF railroad came through and Caddoa was moved to where the center of the present day reservoir is. When the dam construction began, it was moved to its present day location and the BNSF rails were relocated. Today, it boasts three residents.
