April 7, 2020Posted by Webmaster

Adler was started as a stage stop and ranching community. When the railroad constructed its grade to the Orient mine, it passed a quarter mile from Adler. The railroad constructed a stop along the railroad, and most of old Adler moved to the new site. Adler had a post office from 1881 to 1927.
